Containerised the monolith incrementally using the strangler fig pattern — no big-bang migration. Multi-region Kubernetes deployment with Terraform for full infra-as-code. The zero-downtime migration strategy ran parallel to live traffic for 90 days before final cutover, giving the team confidence at every step.

500k concurrent sessions without flinching. 99.99% uptime maintained through the Series B period. Global P95 latency dropped from 1.2s to under 180ms. The CTO walked into their investor meeting with a live dashboard showing real-time scale.
